SIL.MAC. is a company mainly specialized in the construction of automatic machines for third parties. of automatic machines for third parties. We are able to handle the entire job order, even large ones, guaranteeing cost, time and quality on the complete supply of machines, plants or lines and meeting all the requirements expressed by the Customer.

We adapt production processes with extreme flexibility and responsiveness to emerging revisions and changes during order development, quickly updating running and in-stock groups within our supply chain. Sil.Mac. adopts the Concurrent Engineering approach that allows not only greater flexibility and quality, but also a drastic reduction in time and cost.

Infinite production capacity and special machining

Our make-or-buy supply chain of components and parts to design can rely both on Sil.Mac.’s in-house workshop, equipped with modern CNC machines, CAD/CAM systems and component testing in a certified metrology room, and on a network of qualified external workshops for “infinite” production capacity and complete product chemical and heat treatment.

Prototypes, first articles, series testing and restricted area series

Sil.Mac also specializes in consulting and production at the prototyping stage. From the first prototype to series engineering, we optimize cost and time by relieving in-house production and engineering departments of the complex management of these phases. For projects that require maximum privacy, we are also structured with restricted area entry controlled by access badges.

In the following years, two of the three founding partners retired from the company, of which Mr. Orlando Masini remained the sole owner.
1981Collaboration with the company BFB

Subsequent to the 1980s, the company grew and recorded extremely positive results despite the strong and dangerous landslide movement that forced the temporary abandonment of the entire industrial area in the winter of 1994. SIL.MAC. very quickly relocated the entire production activity to a building about 30 km away from the headquarters until the alarm ceased. This made it possible to keep the agreements made with the Customers, demonstrating its seriousness and professionalism despite the great difficulties.
2002Continued growth

In the 2000s, growth continued: in fact, thanks to the computerization of diversified activities, there was a steady increase in production volumes and an increase in the number of customers. This leads in 2002 to the purchase of a second building adjacent to the historical one, to be used for the manufacturing department, allowing the expansion of the warehouse and assembly spaces in the headquarters. It is in the same year that Iso 9001 Quality certification will also be achieved.

SIL.MAC. SIL.MAC. has been certified ISO 9001-2000, later to become ISO 9001-2015, by TUV since 2002. A coveted goal, but only the starting point of hard and constant work to improve processes in order to achieve the company’s primary objective: maximum Customer satisfaction.

The ISO 9001-2015 system is used at SIL.MAC. for the quality management of all processes: from the technical specifications and documentation provided by the customer, through the production of components, to the assembly and testing of the machine.
